POLICY CHANGE
For the 2013 annual fiddle contest we will be eliminating the "People's Choice" award. Over the years we have received numerous complaints and suggestions. The contest committee has decided there is no fair way to pick the "People's Choice". We have been using a dB meter to record
after the contestants performance. The crowd, later in the day, is the largest. This gives Group II and Group III an unfair advantage
to downlaod the 2013

This beautiful trophy will be presented to the 2013 Lyons Fiddle Festival "Grand Champion." In addition to the trophy a cash prize of $250 will also be awarded to the 2013 "Grand Champion." The award is sponsored by Meadowood Music, Blandon, Rt. 222, Pa.
Each fiddle contest entrant will receive this limited edition "Participant Button." All festival volunteers will also receive a button. If you're paid for your services you will not receive a button. These buttons will not be sold at the festival.
